In the final played at the TU ground, Kirtipur, Balkumari, batting first, scored 129 runs for the loss of three wickets. KCC reached the target in 19.2 overs losing seven wickets. With the win, KCC bagged Rs 50,000 while Balkumari pursed Rs 30,000.[break]
Defending champion Balkumari had a good opening stand between Nischal Pandey and Siddhant Shrestha. The opening pair shared a 45-run partnership for the first wicket. Shrestha was sent back to the pavilion by Nagendra Shrestha with 25 runs off 28 balls. Pandey and Sujan Dhungel shared 37-run partnership for the second wicket.
Dhungel (16) was trapped LBW in Binayak Shrestha´s bowling in the 13th over. With the fall of Dhungel, other batsmen could not stay at the crease. Amrit Shrestha (3) gave away his wicket in the 14th over off Anand Sagar Singh´s ball. Pandey was not out on 50 runs off 52 balls while Shankar Aryal was unbeaten on 19 runs.

In chasing the total of 130 runs, KCC started well with opener Sibu Budhathoki and Mohan Singh Bista scoring 56 runs for the first wicket by the ninth over. Budhathoki scored 25 runs off 24 balls before giving away his wicket to Sushil Thapa. Nirupam Dhoj Karki and Bista shared 37-run partnership for the second wicket. Karki was sent back to the pavilion by Siddhant Shrestha.
Player-of-the-match Bista, who scored 33 runs off 41 balls, gave away his wicket to Sudip Kharel. After the fall of Bista, KCC was in trouble as two of its batsmen were short to the crease. Anand Sagar Singh guided the team to the victory.
Sibu Budhathoki of KCC was adjudged the best batsman of the tournament while Nagendra Upadhyay was declared the best bowler. Both the players received Rs 1,000 each along with trophy. Nischal Pandey of Balkumari College received player-of-the-series award for his outstanding bowling and batting and bagged Rs 3, 000.
