KATHMANDU, July 21: Nepali judoka Phupu Lhamu Khatri finished second in the U-63 kg category of JUA Cadet and Junior World Ranking Judo Championship held in Hong Kong on Sunday.

The event sanctioned by Judo Union of Asia (JUA) featured 12 teams. Phupu who competed in U-63 kg category faced yuko point defeat against Munkhbat Davaas of Mongolia in the final.
The same event, vital in obtaining world ranking, will also be held in Macau from July 24 to 26. Phupu accompanied by coach Debu Thapa is also competing in Macau.
