A group of two persons attacked newsreader of Makalu Television Pabitra Pandey and camera person Basu Poudel, who were returning to their office on a motorcycle after taking part in the convention their company´s district reporters at the Lakeside Hotel. [break]
Poudel, who has sustained serious injury, is being treated at the Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar.
Pandey has also sustained leg injuries.
“Two persons suddenly hit us with stones. We then fell off the bike to the ground,” said Pandey.
