Journalist attacked

KAPILVASTU, Feb. 1: An unidentified group attacked Babu Ram Rayamajhi, a reporter with Buddha Awaj, a community radio situated at Bairiya of Kapilvastu district.



A group of four-five people attacked Rayamajhi at Jinuwa of Bhalbad VDC while he was returning home.[Break]



 After the incident, the attackers absconded.



Issuing a press release, Bhesh Raj Pandey, Kapilvastu President of Federation of Nepali Journalists; Parbati Pandey, Kapilvastu Chairman of Press Chautari Nepal; Bikas Banjade, Chairman of Highway Media Network and other various organizations demanded that the attacker be immediately arrested and action be taken against them.
