JUMLA, Sep 3: A fatal jeep accident occurred in Chhalpunera, Ward Number 4 of Kanaka Sundari Rural Municipality in Jumla, resulting in the loss of two lives.
The accident unfolded when a jeep with license plate number Bhe 1 Ja 1099, traveling from Jumla to Mugu, met with an accident at a location known as Chalpunera along the Nagma to Mugu road section.

Yam Bahadur Budha Magar, the Information Officer of the District Police Office in Jumla, confirmed that both the driver and co-driver lost their lives in the spot. However, the identities of the driver and co-driver remain unknown at this time. The jeep reportedly tumbled approximately 300 meters from the roadway.
The incident occurred at 6:45 AM on Sunday, and according to the police, both occupants of the jeep succumbed to their injuries on the spot. The authorities have initiated a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
