Japanese grant to Nepal

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Japan has provided a grant assistance of US$ 7,298,000 to Nepal for implementation of Clean Energy by Solar Electricity Generation System Project.



Tatsuo Mizuno, Japanese ambassador to Nepal and Rameshore Prasad Khanal, secretary at Ministry of Finance (MoF) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Friday in this regard.



The project is expected to help set up a 300 KW solar electricity generation system for Dhobi Ghat reservoir.
