Speaking at a program organized to congratulate the newly elected officials of the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) here on Saturday, the former prime minister said, "Judiciary should have the rights to work independently". He also urged lawyers to work honestly for the establishment of the rule of law.
Speaking at the same function, NC Vice-chair Prakash Man Singh said 11 CA thematic committees have already submitted the preliminary draft report and it was the time of NBA to pile pressure on the stakeholder concerned for a pro-people constitution.

NC central member and Energy Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat said the victory of the democratic panel at NBA in this time´s election has given the message of unity.
Newly elected NBA President Prem Bahadur Khadka promised to fight for making the judiciary independent, capable and responsible during his tenure.
