According to the locals, Min Bahadur Malla´s 21-day-old son Bikash died after he was given an injection of BCG last Wednesday. [break]
On receiving the vaccination, the infant´s skin turned blue and the baby died within minutes, said Malla. However, six more children who received vaccination along with the deceased did not develop any complications.
The incident has been reported to the district health office, informed the Ganeshpur health post.
