KATHMANDU: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Jayanta Prasad on Friday paid a farewell call on Chairman of Interim Election Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi. During the meeting held at the Prime Minister´s Office in Singha Durbar, Regmi appreciated the support India has been extending to Nepal´s socio and economic development, according to a press statement issued by his press advisor Bimal Gautam.
Prasad expressed his confidence that the Regmi-led government would hold elections on the scheduled date of November 19. While assuring continued support to Nepal, Prasad also said that the fresh Constituent Assembly election would bring peace and stability in Nepal.
