India donates 21 ambulances, six buses

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: The Indian Embassy donated 21ambulances and six buses to various hospitals, non-profit charitable organizations and educational institutions from 21 districts on the occasion of 61st Republic Day of India on Tuesday.



Indian Ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood handed over 16 ambulances and six buses while Consul General T Ashok handed over the remaining five ambulances, said a statement issued by the embassy.



The embassy also presented books to 25 educational and training institutions located in different regions, including some remote districts.
