Speaking at a function organized by Reporters´ Club Nepal at Shital Niwas, Yadav said past agreements between the parties ranging from the Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA) to the seven-point agreement (SPA) must be implemented if the achievements of April movement are to be institutionalized.

“The recent seven-point agreement is the culmination of all past agreements. It is my duty to remind all leaders to implement the agreement,” he said.

Yadav said special attention should be taken to ensure national unity, territorial integrity and communal harmony while drawing the federal map of the country.

He urged all the four major political parties -- UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and Madhesi parties -- to work together to draft a democratic constitution.

“Parties should work towards implementing the seven point deal for successful conclusion of the constitution drafting and peace process,” he said.
