IME, NBB inks remittance disbursement deal

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): IME Ltd and Nepal Bangladesh Bank (NBB) have signed an agreement to facilitate remittance disbursement in Nepal. Issuing a press release on Sunday, the remittance company said that its Manager, Head Agent Networking, Rudra Poudel and Surendra Bhusan Shrestha, Deputy General Manager of NBB, signed the agreement on Sunday. "Based on the agreement, remittance sent through IME from all over the world can be received and deposited in all 31 branch offices of NBB," said the release. NBB will also provide facility of internal remittance services which runs in collaboration with Global IME Bank Ltd, the release added.
