IED found at furniture industry in Chitwan

RATNANAGAR (Chitwan), Dec. 8: An improvised explosive device (IED) was found inside a furniture industry in Chitwan on Saturday.



The IED (pressure cooker bomb) was found inside the Tamu Furniture Industry based in Sharadanagar and later it was disposed of by the Nepal Army bomb disposal team from the Bharatpur Barrack.



Pieces of iron, battery and some explosive devices were used to make the bomb, chief of Chitwan Police, Deepak Kumar Thapa, said. Industry staffs found the bomb and informed the police about it.
