KATHMANDU, Feb 11: Namibia has won the toss and elected to bat first against Nepal for the seventh place of the ICC U-19 World Cup at Fatullah in Bangladesh on Thursday.
It will be a 45-over match as it was shortened by 5 overs after the match could not be started on time due to thick fog in the ground.

The match will be important for both the sides as the winner will secure a place in the 2018 World Cup to be held in New Zealand from January 12 to February 4.
A recent board meeting of the International Cricket Council (ICC) had decided that the top Associate team in the current world cup will get direct entry for New Zealand competition.
Nepal and Namibia both are Associate nations. Nepal got Namibia as the opponent after the African nation faced 203 runs defeat against England in the fifth place play-off semifinal on Wednesday.
