Som Bahadur Shrestha, 56, of the VDC died in the incident that occurred on Friday midnight, said Sub-Inspector of Police Ranjan Awa.
Shrestha was referred to Kathmandu after his treatment was not possible in Charikot. He got injury on his forehead.
