Buddhishova Rai, 52, succumbed to fist attack by her spouse Om Prasad Rai, 52, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Khotang.
The investigation reveals that the couple was boozing together which resulted in the tussle. In a fit of rage, the husband attacked his wife with fist, said Bidyananda Majhi, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the DPO, Khotang.
Police have taken culpculprit Om Prasad under their control and taken action against him, according to DSP Majhi. RSS
