KATHMANDU, Aug 1: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sushil Koirala has said his party will continue obstructing House proceedings until Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal steps down as per the agreement reached in the five-point deal.

Speaking to media persons at his residence in Maharajgunj on Monday morning, Koirala said it is not appropriate for the PM to try to reshuffle the cabinet at a time when he should be resigning to clear way for national consensus. [break]

On the occasion, the NC president came down heavily on Maoists, saying that there is no unity between their word and action and described them as a major hurdle in the ongoing peace and constitution writing processes.
