“If (Prime Minister) Madhav Kumar Nepal has a little intelligence and morale left, he should immediately resign,” Yadav said speaking at a press conference on Wednesday.[break]
“If he does not resign, a parliamentary procedure will be used to save the country,” he added.
Forum vice-chairman Jaya Prakash Prasad Gupta also criticized the government. “It’s rare for party leaders of the Prime Minister to accuse him on serious matters,” Gupta said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar said the government is ready to face any parliamentary attempt to change it.
“If there is the no-confidence motion in the parliament, we will see,” he told journalists at the airport upon his arrival. “But chanting slogans on the streets will not dissolve the government.”
