Committee´s secretary Dipak Lamichhane said they are planning to launch the service to make a success to their plan of bringing in over 2,000 tourists each day in Nagarkot.[break]
At present, there are 36 hotels with capacity of 1,000 beds in the area.
As per the service, the locals should serve food items like rice, pulse, breads, Dhindo, Gundruk and others typical food items to the visitors. Similarly, two well-facilitated bed rooms, bathroom, toilet and hot water will be managed in 50 separate houses in the villages for the purpose of the home stay service.
Lamichhane said the home stay service will help increase identity of the village through local cultures and traditions, and the economic standard of the locals will also be promoted.
The committee has decided to provide loans to operate the home stay service. The home stay service will begin after a month.
