Pokharel further added that since the peace and constitution drafting process is still underway, his party strongly believes that the home ministry should not be given to the Maoist.

The nation will be pushed back to more problems and crisis if the home ministry is in the hands of Maoist, and the constitution can not be drafted under the terror of weapons, he said.

He further added that one of the major political party Nepali Congress should be included in the government and that in their absence it will be very hard to bring the peace and constitution process under logical conclusion.

“We are trying to reach an agreement with the Nepali Congress for which we can dismiss the seven-point deal and forge a new agreement involving them,” he said.
