The meeting held at the Committee´s office at Naya Baneshwar discussed the possibility of holding talks with the dissatisfied sides on other topics save the fundamental issues of postponement of the date of the Constituent Assembly elections and change in government, said Nepali Congress leader Arjun Narsingh KC.
"There can be no change in government and the date for the CA election, and discussions were held on which other topics except these two topics consensus could be sought in the round-table conference that will be held for a short period," he said. [break]
The meeting also held discussions on the line that anarchy and uncertainty would be created while seeking a new thing by dissolving the present government and deferring the election would create instability. So the meeting decided to take position on these two issues.
The HLPC has taken a decision in principle to hold decisive talks with the different poll opposing parties including the CPN-Maoist for ensuring the CA election on November 19.
