The Livestock Service and Livestock Quarantine Office, and local security agencies have been kept on high alert in view of controlling the transport of illegal supply of poultry products in the district.[break]
Strict measures have been initiated in the supply of the poultry products in view of checking the illegal import of poultry products in various areas of Dhanusha district including the district headquarters, Janakpurdham from bordering Indian market.
The border security forces have been urged to make the checking more effective as the Nepali markets in the bordering area are at high risk of highly contagious type of influenza, bird flu, according to District Livestock Service Office, Dhanusha.
