Hello Sarkar addresses 75 pc complaints in three months

KATHMANDU, Feb 24: Over 75 percent of complaints registered over the last three months with the Hello Sarkar, a public grievances hearing program earlier set up by this government, have been addressed, claimed the office of the prime minister and council of ministers (OPMCM) on Sunday.



According to Krishna Hari Baskota, secretary at OPMCM, out 2,033 of the 2,698 complaints received from mid-November last year to mid February this year were addressed. [break]



In a whole, 20432 complaints were received since the start of the program after Baburam Bhattarai became the prime minister said Baskota addeding that most of complaints were related to foreign employment  and embezzlement of social security funds, delay in issuace of teachers´ license, bank loans, electricity, rural electrification, violence against women, supply of petroleum products, passport distribution and delay in delivery of government services.
