KATHMANADU, March 4: Former minister Jaya Prakash Gupta on Monday filed a case in Supreme Court (SC) against Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai and Deputy Prime Minister (DPM)and Home Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar accusing them of the contempt of court for not abiding by a court directive issued on September 2011.
The Supreme Court had directed the government some 16 months before to revise the provisions of semi-judicial powers vested in the Chief District Officer and other administrative officers.
