Kirat Janawadi Workers´ Party, Kirat Ratsriya Morcha, Khambuwan Rastriya Morcha and Nepal Adibasi Janajati Mahasangh issued separate statements Tuesday urging boycott of Morcha´s eastern region banda scheduled for Wednesday.
The statements said that federal system is a must for the country and that all anti-federal activities are part of a plot hatched by the elite brahmins and supporters of unitary state structure.
It is a matter of serious concern that various parties and their leaders are advocating against federal set-up even after mentioning federalism in the Interim Constitution, the statements said.
Meanwhile, the Morcha organized a mass torch rally Tuesday evening in Ghaighat area and calling for making Wednesday´s banda successful.
