In its peace proposal released Thursday, the UCPN (Maoist) had proposed withdrawal of criminal cases brought against the party.
“This proposal of the Maoist party goes against all national responsibilities under the Comprehensive Peace Agreement, the Interim Constitution and international humanitarian law,” reads the statement.
