TANAHUN, Oct 21: General Secretary of the UCPN (Maoist) Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that intensive discussions are held for resolving burning issues of the country rather than breaking or making the party.

At a press meet organized by the Revolutionary Journalist Association Tanahun at Damauli on Friday, he said time has come for evaluation of the government as no worthy deeds have been done even as 45 days have elapsed of the government formation.[break]

Thapa also said discussion was held within the party on nationalism, people’s constitution, sustainability of the republic, and integrating combatants in the army as per national security policy. He further said the people have themselves evaluated the government and no one needs to accuse it for misdeeds.

Even if Dr. Baburam Bhattarai became the prime minister with the determination for working for peace, constitution and in favour of the people, the murder of Faijan Ahmad in broad daylight before the police in the capital and defense minister giving statement for splitting the nation are something that prove the works of the government unsatisfactory, said Thapa.
