Govt vows action against guilty of Kailali incident

KATHMANDU, April 6: The Ministry of Home Affairs today expressed concern on an inhuman incident and the misbehavior meted out on Raj Kumari Rana, 60, of Beladeshpur VDC-7 of Kailali district, on Friday morning in accusation of practicing witchcraft.



The Ministry has directed the concerned administration to take legal action and file case against the guilty ones.



The Chairman of the Interim Election Council, and Home Minister expressed sadness over the incident and directed action against the guilty.



Police have arrested two persons in this connection and is carrying out necessary investigation for the action.



The Ministry also stated that it has made arrangement for the free treatment of victim Rana.
