A cabinet meeting held at Singha Durbar Monday evening had passed Education Service (eighth amendments) Ordinance, 2012, Civil Service (third amendment) Ordinance, 2012, Nepal Health Service (fourth amendment) Ordinance, 2012 and ordinance for the formation of disappearance, truth and reconciliation commission.
Criticizing the president’s earlier move to reject the two ordinances recommended by the government, leader Pokhrel said that it would be a regressive move if President Yadav repeats the same. Earlier, the president had rejected two election-related ordinances stating that they were irrelevant when the Election Commission has already said it would be impossible to hold elections in the existing situation.
