"The prices of the daily essentials like rice and sugar have shot up. Whether it is due to black market or irregularities, we will find out the root cause soon," Pun reiterated.
Effective market inspection will take place soon to sfeguard consumers interest, Pun stressed.
He also claimed that the inflation has been reduced considerably compared to last seven years.
