KATHMANDU, March 13: Gold and silver prices in Nepal slipped slightly today compared to Thursday, reflecting minor fluctuations in both local and international markets. The price of gold fell by Rs 2,800 per tola, while silver dropped by Rs 20 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), hallmarked gold is now trading at Rs 314,200 per tola, while silver stands at Rs 5,495 per tola. On Thursday, the rates were Rs 317,000 per tola for gold and Rs 5,515 per tola for silver, the FENEGOSIDA said.
The international market mirrored the decline, with gold priced at USD 5,118 per ounce and silver at USD 85 per ounce.
