KATHMANDU, May 7: The prices of gold and silver in the domestic market extended their upward momentum on Thursday, rising further compared to Wednesday’s rates. Gold increased by Rs 1,800 per tola, while silver climbed by Rs 105 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 298,600 per tola today. Similarly, silver is priced at Rs 5,155 per tola.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 296,800 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,050 per tola, the FENEGOSIDA said.
In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 4,703 per ounce, while silver is priced at USD 77 per ounce, according to international media reports.
