KATHMANDU, April 1: The prices of gold and silver have risen again in the local market today. Gold increased by Rs 7,400 per tola, while silver went up by Rs 100 per tola.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of hallmarked gold today stands at Rs 297,600 per tola, while silver of the same quantity is priced at Rs 4,945.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
On Tuesday, hallmarked gold was priced at Rs 290,200 per tola, with silver at Rs 4,845 per tola, FENEGOSIDA reported.
In the international market, an ounce of gold is trading at USD 4,705, while silver is priced at USD 75, according to global market reports.
