Coordinator of the Shelter Bhumiraj Bhattarai said that the 11-year-old girl was rescued from a brothel at Allahabad of Meerganj in India.
It is learnt that the rescued girl was trafficked by her sister Kuiti Tamang of Jirauna in Chitwan district. Kuiti Tamang had sold the girl for IRs 30,000 by taking her upto Allahabad with a promise to arrange a trip in the Indian city.
Currently, Kuiti is in police custody while a case against her is underway in the District Court, Kapilbastu. RSS
