The girl in her early 20s, who had checked in Manaki Hotel a couple of days ago with a boy, was found dead in the hotel room at around 1:30 in the afternoon.

Her cheeks, chin, nose and forehead have been sliced with razorblade. Police said the body, found in semi-naked state, showed that she may have been killed at least a day ago.
Hotel manager Indresh Jha said a boy, referring to the girl as his wife, had arrived at five on Thursday evening. He said the duo had morning tea together after spending the night at the hotel but nobody had seen the boy return after going out of the hotel immediately after drinking tea.
The boy, who had checked in as Saroj Rijal from Kamalamai-9, Sindhuli, had deposited Rs 1,000 at the counter Thursday morning but there were no orders after that.
“We found the body Saturday afternoon after the hotel contacted us as no orders were placed throughout Friday,” Police Inspector Hari Khatiwada said.
The identity of the girl, who looks to be of hilly origin, has not been revealed till Saturday evening and the body is being kept at the Janakpur Zonal Hospital for post mortem.
