KATHMANDU, June 14: A fugitive youth convicted in rape case has been arrested on Thursday.

Ramesh Thapa aka Nir Bahadur was arrested from Naya Bazar, Kirtipur by a team of Central Investigation Bureau (CIB).
Thapa was convicted of raping 13 years old girl of then Pokhari Chauri VDC of Kavre district. The district court slapped Thapa eight years of jail term. He has been sent to Kathmandu based Jagannath Deval jail for the implementation of the verdict.
