Four injured in road mishap

NAWALPARASI, July 19: Four persons injured in a road accident that took place in Maker-4, Chisapani of Nawalparasi along the East-West highway Sunday night.



Among the injured, two are said to be in critical condition, according to District Police Office, Nawalparasi. [break]



The accident occurred when a car (Ba 5 Cha 24) heading towards west direction and a microbus (Lu 1 Kha 3015) coming from opposite direction collided each other.



The injured are 10-year-old Pooja Bhar of Makar-3, Chet Narayan Chaudhary, 41, of Rupauliya, car driver Binod Gupta and thirty-five-year-old Firaj Khan.



Seriously injured Gupta and Khan are undergoing treatment in Lumbini zonal hospital and other two are being treated in Daunnedevi Polyclinic in Bardaghat.



Micro bus driver has been absconding immediately after the incident and search for him is on, said police.
