Anarajit Malla, Dhirendra Chaudhary, 35, tractor driver Jogendra Adhikari, 21, and Rama Shankar Lohani, 21, of Ramgram died in the incident. The former two died during treatment at the Bharatpur Medical Hospital while two died on the spot, police said.
The incident happened when the truck of registration plate Lu 1 Kha 3432 heading to Parasi from Sunawal collided with the tractor of registration plate Lu 1 Kha 2135.
Bijay Chaudhary, 35, and Dhirendra Agrahari, 30, are receiving treatment at Bhairahawa Medical College and their condition is critical. Three more injured are being treated in Prithivichand Hospital, Parasi.
According to police, the truck driver has absconded.
