GAUSHALA, June 18: Four dacoits who were involved in a daylight robbery have been arrested by Mahottari police.

Those arrested last night are Bidakishore Mahato, Ramsakal Mahato, Brijlal Mandal and Ram Chandra Mandal of Jaleswar municipality-14, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Lokendra Shrestha. They have been charged of looting Rs. 300,000 in cash, 12 tola of gold and 20 tola of silver ornaments along with a bicycle and a goat from the house of Devendra Singh in Jaleswar-16 on Tuesday noon.
A special team mobilized from the District Police Office arrested the four looters from their house in the same night, DSP Shrestha added. RSS
