Kristina Allen, 16, from The British School has already come up with her own album “Na Badhana” in 2009. [break]
Kristina reveals her passion and plans as follows:
Tell us about your music.
I was eight when I started playing guitar and sing. Since then I’ve been playing at concerts and in collaborations as well.
What does your family have to say about your hobbies?
They completely support me. They have always encouraged me and also feel proud of me. My family has been in every concert I perform.
So how do you manage as the popular kid in school?
Well I do not have that popular kid attitude. So at school everybody treats me normally as any other student and I’m comfortable with that. However, sometimes my friends playfully tease me which I am ok with.

In a society like ours, football and guitar is perceived as a guy thing. What is your say on that?
That is absolutely sexist. In fact such things are also considered a waste of time. I think that elders should understand that one can excel in life if they are allowed to follow their passion and yes girls can also have passion for football and guitar.
What does your ideal future look like?
I aspire to become a football player for Liverpool Club as I’m a die hard fan of it. Music will also be a big part of my life. I’ve taken up sports and music as my major subjects and will hopefully continue with these subjects. If I do not get into these areas, I guess I might consider acting as the last resort.
