Food industry robbed in Banke

NEPALGUNJ, July 13: A group of around 25 armed persons thrashed the employees of Himanshu Food Industry and looted the industry in Parbatipur of Banke district on Monday night.



Four employees of the industry sustained critical injuries after they retaliated against the looters who were equipped with homemade pistols, knives and sticks.



Critically injured industry manager Shrawan Kumar Birasat, accountant Bishal Dankarmi and guards Ghanashyam Air and Nagendra Mishra are undergoing treatment at Bheri Zonal Hospital, according to Banke District Police Office.



It has been reported that the looters made away with Rs 200,000 cash and other goods from the industry.
