The deceased have been identified as Ghanashyam Neupane, 8, and Swastika Neupane, 4. They were children of Ghanashyam Neupane.
The fire that broke out suddenly from a retail shop of Neupane engulfed some houses in the village, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Bardiya, Netramani Giri.
Kopila Neupane, wife of Ghanshyam, has sustained injuries in the incident, police added. Further investigation into the incident was underway, according to police. RSS
