KATHMANDU, Aug 21: Nepal ended a-four match losing streak in the ongoing ICC U-19 World Cup in Australia after beating Namibia by 39 runs in their 13th Place Play off Semifinal match of the tournament, on Tuesday.
With Bhuwan Karki´s five-wicket haul for 21 runs, Namibia failed to chase the 220-run victory target and bundled out in just 180 runs losing all of its wickets in 46.3 overs. Similarly, captain Prithu Baskota, Krishna Karki, Ramnaresh Giri, Sagar Pun and Pradeep Airee bagged a wicket each.[break]
In Namibian innings, Captain SJ Baard and Z Groenewald scored half centuries each.
Earlier, after winning the toss and electing to bat first at the Peter Burge Oval, Brisbane, Airee cracked a solid 98 not out to post a competitive score of 219 runs for 7 against Namibia.

Airee, who missed his ton by a whisker, blasted 3 fours and as many sixes in his 76-ball knock.
Subash Khakurel made 35 runs where as Raju Pulami Magar contributed 24 runs in the innings. Likewise Banskota and Hasim Ansari made 18-run each.
Namibian bowler, CW Coombe claimed three Nepali wickets. Similarly S. Groenewald bagged two wickets were as LJ Bolton and A Engelbrecht grabbed one wicket each.
On Monday, Sri Lanka had thrashed Nepal by eight wickets in the plate championship quarterfinal.
