Final round of Coca-Cola Cup begins

KATHMANDU, Aug 4: Nepal Adarsha Boarding School, Kaski and Budhanilkantha School, Kathmandu won their respective matches as the final round of the Coca-Cola Cup Inter School Football Tournament kicked off in the capital on Thursday.



Nepal Adarsha defeated GEMS School, Lalitpur 2-1 in the match played at the ANFA Complex, Lalitpur. Akash Gurung and Roshan Gurung scored for the winning team, while Atul Gautam scored the only goal for GEMS.[break]



Likewise, Budhanilkantha thrashed Mills Secondary School, Morang 3-0. Sonam Rai scored a brace and Nabin BK added another goal for the winning side.



Meanwhile, Siddhartha Vanasthali School had to be satisfied with a 1-1 draw against Mahendra Morang Secondary School. Bijay Sharma had put Mahendra Morang in front in the 60th minute of the match but Sagar Gurung found the equalizer 10 minutes later.



Likewise, Butwal Elite Boarding School and Bhagawati Higher Secondary School, Morang played a 1-1 draw. Arun Rai gave the lead to Bhagawati in the 26th minute but Lalit Thapa leveled the score in the 61st minute.
