Speaking at a function organised to release a biography of the Minister without Portfolio, Rajlal Yadav, and share greetings on the occasion of the Nepali New Year 2069 BS, he warned the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML) not to dream of federalizing the country connecting north and south.
Minister for Information Yadav said the talks held between the major political parties in Hattiban, Lalitpur, was positive and historical, adding the political parties have reached the understanding in principle and policy regarding the state restructuring, the electoral system, forms of governance, among other issues.
He expressed his confidence that the political parties would forge consensus within a day or two and claimed that the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) would not be an obstacle for peace and constitution writing process.
During the programme, Minister Yadav released a book on the biography of UDMF senior leader Rajlal Yadav, the Minister without Portfolio.
Similarly, speaking at an interaction organised by Reporters Club, Siraha, he said the past agreements (22, 8, and 4-point deals) signed with the UDMF should be implemented in letter and spirit.
