Ex-PM Bhattarai refutes media claim

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: Former UCPN (Maoist) leader Baburam Bhattarai on Sunday refuted the media claim that he has instructed UCPN (M) lawmakers close to him not to vote on today's election of prime minister at the parliament.Issuing a press note today, Bhattarai's personal aide Biswadeep Pandey said that the media claims not true and just a baseless rumor.

"We would like to make it clear that Bhattarai has not involved any activities such as forming and toppling the government," reads the press note.
