Representatives and ambassadors of United Kingdom, German, France, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Switzerland called on the CPN-Maoist leadership at the latter´s office in Buddhanagar. [break]
During the meeting, CPN-Maoist leadership made it clear to the EU representatives that four major political forces [UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and United Democratic Madhesi Front] were to blame for the present political crisis, the statement issued by the party reads.
"EU representatives were assured that our party would not opt for armed revolt by boycotting the Constituent Assembly elections," Pampha Bhusal in statement said. "They asked us to resolve the present crisis through election."
Vice-chairman CP Gajurel and General Secretary Ram Bahadur Thapa, among others, were present in the meeting.
