The EU will be represented by Donald Tusk, President of the European Council, and by Jean-Claude Juncker, President of the European Commission.

"I only know what was stated in the background brief issued by the Council, namely that Nepal is on the agenda," Rensje Teerink , the Ambassador/Head of EU Delegation to Nepal, told Republica Online.
According to the press statement of the Council of the European Union issued on Tuesday, the leaders are expected to focus on the latest developments in the EU's and India's respective neighborhoods in their discussions.
"Leaders are also likely to discuss Pakistan, Nepal and China," the statement added.
While the EU has hailed the promulgation of Nepal's new constitution as 'an historic event marking the culmination of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement', India is yet to officially welcome the new constitution of Nepal.
Earlier in November last year, Nepal’s constitutional and post-quake recovery issues have got reference in an India-UK joint statement following a bilateral meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his British counterpart David Cameron in London.
The summit with India, which the EU counts as one of the ten strategic partners, is also scheduled to discuss issues like trade and investment, foreign and security policy, climate, energy, water and migration.
