During the meeting, bilateral relations, EU support to Nepal and matters of mutual interests were discussed, according to the President’s Office.
Lambart said the EU wants to see success of Nepal’s peace process and constitution-drafting and to support part in Nepal’s economic and social development.
On the occasion, President Dr Yadav thanked the EU for its support to Nepal’s peace process and development and urged the delegation to help increase EU’s assistance in the coming days.
He expressed hope that political parties will complete the peace process and statute-drafting process through consensus and collaboration as well as implementing the Interim Constitution and the Comprehensive Peace Accord.
