The expo, organized by Sutra International, has 102 stalls that feature products ranging from cosmetics, kitchen items, computer, mobiles, food and beverages, stationeries, apparel, footwears and many more.
"Almost all the stalls in the expo are offering special discounts to costume”s," says Sunil Bista, manager of the event. "Our main aim is to provide a homely environment to our visitors and bring all necessary stuffs under a single roof."
Samsung Mobile store is one such attraction that sports solar and waterproof mobiles. A solar mobile with FM radio, flashlight, solar cell battery and mobile tracker technology is priced at Rs 5,010. Another waterproof and dust resistant mobile with anti-shock body, however, is priced at Rs 11,200. Other features of this set includes bluetooth, 1.3mp camera and 7MB internal memory among others.
Samsung is also promoting its star mobile that costs Rs 17,970. Samsung is giving a scratch coupon to its costumers, offering them chance to win 40 tolas of gold and 100 kilos of silver.
Chinese mobiles that are being sold by Exxon Mobile are another major attractions in the expo. Exxon is offering Chinese mobiles in the range of Rs 3,500 to Rs 9,000. Exxon is giving away Kingston pen-drive or a wrist watch and card reader against the purchase of mobile sets, telephone sets and mobile speakers.
Robin Traders, which sells cosmetic products for men and women by a Malaysian brand Unza, is also offering gift hampers worth Rs 600 to its costumers. Robin Traders sells Dashing and Romano as men products and Enchanter as women product. Plastic wares, e-bike, fitness equipment, computers are other attractions of the show.
"Fashion show and concert are the other reasons because of which the expo has been able to draw huge crowd," added Bista. The expo concludes on September 13.
